Band History

Like all bands that have ever formed, there is a beginning where it started. The band may change names, change members but there is always a foundation when it formed, and it evolves with the group.

February 2013

March 8, 2013, one of the first shows as a newly formed group know as 45 And A Fifth in Highlanders Tavern in Douglasville.

Founding members of the group: Greg Sims (guitar), Ray Jams (keys), David Farkas (Singer), Mike Annis (drums), Jack Braz (guitar) and Jimmy Traylor (bass).

November 2013

In November 11, 2013, the band had some member changes due to life changes with jobs and family. New members Jeff Sprayberry and Kirk Barns.

April 2014

April 2014, we had a change to a 4-piece group welcoming in Brian Holcomb on guitar. This necessitated a change in musical style with the vocal influences of Brian. The dynamics of the group was tight and brought a full head-on show.

Mar 2017

May 2017 there was a line-up change once again due to family and job obligations. We moved back to a 5-piece band and brought into our musical repertoire more 90s and 2000s music. Jeff Sprayberry rejoined the band and a new member Tim Maeger.
